OCOEE COLD PLUNGE | March 2, 2024
Jump into the freezing cold waters at Camp Ocoee and help us raise funds for camper scholarships!
Why ALL KIDS should get a camp experience:
- Camp builds confidence and social-emotional skills
- Camp helps kids learn how to make friends and introduce them to new experiences
- Camp provides youth with the opportunity to achieve goals in a supportive environment and connect with nature
- Camp introduces kids to camp counselor role models and creates lifelong memories
- Camp is FUN!
How to Take the Plunge:
Jump into the icy waters of YMCA Camp Ocoee on March 2 to raise money for summer camp scholarships! To register (or to donate), CLICK HERE. Donate directly or create a fundraising page and raise at least $50 for camper scholarships by February 22 in order to join the official Plunge!
When you create your page, tell us why you are plunging!
- Do you “plunge” because you think all kids deserve a summer camp experience?
- Maybe someone donated for you to go to camp years ago and you want to give back?
- Or maybe you have always wondered what it would be like to swim in the lake in the winter?
Whatever your reason, your cold plunge will make a difference in a child’s life this summer when they attend summer camp and grow in spirit, mind and body!

You can also attend the event and offer moral support - we need cheerleaders, too!
