Building For the Future: Our Vision

Much like a blooming tree begins with a single seed, YMCA Camp Ocoee has spent the past 100 years planting seeds of impact through our summer camp and retreat experiences. Thousands of lives have been positively touched by their time here, and we are proud of the legacy we've cultivated.

As we look to the future, our vision is to plant a new seed—one that will sustain and grow the impact of our mission for the next 100 years. This new seed will not only allow us to serve more summer campers through essential upgrades, but it will also position YMCA Camp Ocoee as a year-round resource for the entire community. Together, we will continue to nurture growth, foster connection, and build a brighter future for all.

Our Success to Date:
Celebrating the success of Stage 1, 2, 3, and 4 is a significant milestone, as these phases have laid the foundation with essential infrastructure and additional cabins. However, our work is far from complete as we turn the corner and continue to nurture the seeds of this renovation process. Every enhancement planned for YMCA Camp Ocoee has been thoughtfully designed to honor our rich history while building a stronger future for generations to come.

YMCA Camp Ocoee Master Plan

The Impact:
YMCA Camp Ocoee currently serves more than 7,000 people annually. Over the next 100 years, our impact will be half a million people! Because our vision is to create structures that are built to accommodate this growth, it's necessary that our grounds, cabins, and facilities provide the needed program space for lasting memories to occur.

Stage 5 Projects

Estimated Cost- $2m

The new Program Center will become the heart of YMCA Camp Ocoee—a vibrant gathering place where activities, groups, and memories will bloom. This 6,000 square foot facility will not only provide additional space, but will also serve as a central hub for camp check-ins, shaded indoor activities, gym space, and a versatile rental facility available year-round.

Beyond its role in camp, the Program Center will benefit the broader community, hosting a variety of groups such as school classes, family reunions, church events, corporate retreats, and much more. Its flexible design will ensure that it serves as a welcoming space for people of all ages and interests throughout the year.

Stage 6 Projects

Estimated Cost- $1m

Treehouse Village- This addition will allow us to expand our Teen Leadership Academy programs

Build 4 new cabins on the site of the former Rotary Village Cabins
48 additional campers each summer
Will allow us to increase the number of teens served thorugh our Teen Leadership Academy and allow space for new summer programs.
Increases our school year retreat capacity by 56 beds
